TCSL Teachers are those who teach Chinese as second language around the world. This survey reveals the job satisfaction level of local Chinese teachers in the UK and its influencing factors through an in-depth analysis of 144 valid questionnaires. The study found that the interviewed teachers’ overall satisfaction is relatively high. The degree of satisfaction in each sub-dimension from high to low is “self-actualization”，“interpersonal relationship”，“training and promotion”，“material environment”，“external support” and “Leadership management”. Different teachers show obvious differences in gender，teaching experience，educational background，teaching institutions and teaching objects. In terms of influencing factors，educational background，teaching experience，family and organizational environment support affect the job satisfaction of local Chinese teachers in the UK as important significant variables. Based on this，the research puts forward relevant suggestions to improve the job satisfaction level of local teachers from five aspects，namely to improve organizational management and provide external support for the professional development of local teachers，to carry out targeted training for local teachers based on their teaching experience and teaching institutions，to improve local Chinese teachers’ emotional intelligence and self-regulate ability，to set up the communication mechanism and professional development opportunities for local Chinese teachers，and to foster the bilateral cooperation between Chinese education researchers and overseas Chinese teachers.
