This paper firstly analyzes the present situation of Nansha District and Nansha Port Area. It then establishes a simple linear regression model regressing relevant historical through OLS estimation method data. Combining qualitative description with quantitative calculation，it evaluates the influence of Nansha Port Area on economy development in Nansha New District and conducts a SWOT analysis on feasibility of constructing an international shipping center in Nansha New District relying on Nansha Port. In the end，it puts forward policy suggestions for further integrative development of Nansha New District and Nansha Port.
