山东省海洋产业依托山东半岛蓝色经济区建设的契机，继续保持了较好的发展态势。同时，山东海洋经济发展也面临新的形势与挑战：世界海洋科技步入密集创新时代，国际海洋开发战略导向日益凸显。2014年，国家提出“一带一路”经济发展战略，使中国海洋经济发展战略出现新变化。山东必须在积极探索海洋开发国际合作新机制、加强战略性海洋新兴产业的培育、推动海洋科技创新、加大政府扶持力度，以及加强海洋生态保护等方面，加快推进海洋经济发展。
Relying on the opportunity of the construction of Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone，Shandong province marine industry maintain the good momentum of development. At the same time，the development of marine economy in Shandong is facing new situation and challenge，marine science and technology in the world into the era of innovation intensive，international marine development strategy oriented has become increasingly prominent. In 2014，the government put forward “One Beld One Road” strategy，which cause some new changes in marine economy development stratigy. Shandong must actively explore new mechanisms for international cooperation in marine development，strengthen the cultivation of marine strategic emerging industries，promote the marine science and technology innovation，increase government efforts to support and strengthen the protection of the marine ecosystem and to accelerate the development of marine economy.
