In recent years，non-fossil energy in Henan province has grown rapidly，but fossil energy will still dominate for a long time in the future. The resource endowment of henan province with more coal and less oil determines that the transformation and development of the petrochemical industry in the whole provinces still have a long way to go. This report combed the oil resources in henan province survey and production status，discusses the development of petrochemical industry transformation path，according to the reality of the lack of crude oil，petrochemical industry should actively introducing external resources，more efficient use of petroleum resources，vigorously high-end chemical products production，extends the industrial chain，realize the product upgrade，improve market competetiveness.
