Since the beginning of the 21st century，the cultural exchanges between China and Vietnam have been developing rapidly with an all-round，multi-level and broad-area trend. They not only promoted the development of cultural undertakings on both sides，but also provided a good foundation for political exchanges and economic cooperation between the two countries. Due to some historical and realistic factors，there are still some shortcomings and challenges in the current cultural exchanges between China and Vietnam，which require joint efforts of the two countries. With the development of comprehensive national power of China and Vietnam，and the connection of the “One Belt One Road” initiative and the “Two Corridors and One Ring” plan，the status and function of Sino-Vietnamese cultural exchanges will be further enhanced. And the expansion of the exchanges is expected to play a bigger role in bilateral cooperation.
