本文以阿拉伯文学汉译活动肇始以来各历史阶段的社会历史语境与翻译政策的演变为线索，将阿拉伯文学汉译在中国的历史分为发轫期、活跃期、第一次高潮、第二次高潮和稳定期五个阶段，分阶段对阿拉伯文学翻译在中国的发展历程作了历史梳理，指出中国的阿拉伯文学翻译事业历经了与中国近现代社会变革的融合式发展，也见证了译者的翻译动机从服务于思想启蒙与民族救亡到服从于意识形态与政治计划，再到致力于艺术审美与文化交流的转变。
This article reviews the development of Arabic literary translation in China in five stages taking the socio-historical context and the evolution of translation policies in various historical stages since the beginning of the Chinese translation of Arabic literature as a clue，and points out that China’s Arabic literary translation has undergone a fusion development with the modern and contemporary social changes in China，and has also witnessed the transformation of the translator’s motivation from serving enlightenment and national salvation to obedience to political plans，and then to dedicated to artistic aesthetics and cultural exchanges.
