Immigrants and their descendants are the most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe. Different factors, such as living environment, working condition, medical resources, language capacity, legal status, ways of social integration and public health policy, lead to the obvious impact of COVID-19 on Frenchimmigrants. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated discrimination, xenophobia and racism in mainstream society. In the case of Portuguese Concierges in Paris, they are affected by the outbreak significantly. The nature of their work puts them at greater risk of infection and their work and life are affected deeply by the pandemic. Factors affecting immigrant integration still deserve attention.
