In response to the challenges caused by COVID-19 epidemic to education and social development,the French government has introduced a series of response measures in the fields of education,scientific research and youth,including promoting online teaching,abolishing centralized examinations,granting financial assistance to teachers and students,increasing teacher recruitment,and adjusting international education policies,etc. The policies on class resumption and campus epidemic prevention have been criticized and called into question. In September 2020,the government launched the “Revitalization Plan”. Priorities have been given to nine initiatives in the fields of education,scientific research and innovation and three initiatives in the youth field. The goal is to promote a comprehensive social and economic recovery,in order to reinvigorate France in 2030.
