Ten years have passed since the Danish government issued the “Arctic Strategy of the Kingdom of Denmark 2011-2020” in 2011. During this decade，the Arctic has become an arena of competition between the three countries，China，the U.S. and Russia，as the Arctic has escalated. Against this backdrop of great change，each country has taken action to adjust its Arctic strategy to gain benefits in the Arctic region. Denmark，also an Arctic country，is very passive at this critical point of strategic renewal. Even though Denmark’s position in the Arctic region is still unclear，there are still many favorable factors that can contribute to changing its awkward situation.
