2019年，中国对欧外交取得丰硕成果。首先，习近平主席成功访问意大利，中意经贸合作迈上新台阶；其次，中法元首实现年内互访，深化了两国共识，推进了务实合作；再次，“一带一路”倡议推动中希高层交往频繁，政治互信与互利合作进一步夯实。元首外交为中欧关系发展注入新的动力，提升了中欧关系的战略性，双方关系进入新的时代。
Abundant fruits were recorded in China’s diplomacy on Europe in 2019. In the year，President XI Jinping paid a successful visit to Italy which lifted their economic and trade cooperation to a higher level. The Chinese and French heads visited one another，deepened bilateral consensus and boosted pragmatic cooperation. With the help of the Belt and Road initiative，China and Greece witnessed frequent high-level dialogues，which consolidated their political mutual trust and cooperation that benefited both. Head-of-State diplomacy has added new impetus into China-Europe relationship，enhanced its strategic importance，and ushered it into a new era.
