2019年10月13～14日，波兰举行议会选举，执政党法律与公正党赢得众议院选举胜利，但丢失了参议院的多数席位；反对党险胜。在四年执政期间，法律与公正党面临许多质疑和挑战，但依旧赢得了议会多数席位，这与波兰良好的经济发展、法律与公正党推行的社会政策、波兰传统的保守主义和反对党的孱弱息息相关。法律与公正党对未来四年制定了雄心勃勃的计划，涉及政治、外交、经济、社会和农业等多个领域。但在参议院失手的情况下，法律与公正党是否能实现其选举时的承诺，尚待观察。
Poland held its parliamentary elections on 13th and 14th October，2019. The ruling party Law and Justice （PiS） retained its majority in the Sejm，but lost majority in the Senate to the opposition. Although PiS faced a series of challenges，it won the election，which can be attributed to the desirable economic performance，the social policies it promoted，conservative outlook of Polish societies and incompetence of opposition parties. PiS announced an ambitious four-year plan，covering various sectors of politics，foreign policy，economy，social development，agriculture and so forth. However，considering its disadvantages in the Senate，it remains to be seen if PiS will be able to meet its campaign commitments.
