为分析世界湾区城市环境竞争力的总体态势，研究构建世界大湾区城市环境竞争力评价模型，将广州（粤港澳大湾区）与纽约（纽约湾区）、旧金山（旧金山湾区）、东京（东京湾区）等世界大湾区主要城市进行评价分析，明确广州位置和优劣势，并提出改善措施。评价结果显示，广州环境竞争力分项较不均衡，优劣势明显；与领先城市相比，广州在环境质量、环境创新与发展、环境管理与形象等相对落后；广州应在提升环境质量、环境设施与服务方面加快赶超，在提升环境创新与发展、环境管理与形象方面重点发力。
In order to analyze the environmental competitiveness of cities in the world’s bay areas，this paper studies and forms the an evaluation mode to evaluate overall characteristics of the environmental competitiveness of 4 cities among the world’s top four bay areas，including Guangzhou，Tokyo，San Francisco and New York City，so as to find out the position of Guangzhou and its advantages and disadvantages and put forward countermeasures for improvement. The evaluation result shows that：Guangzhou’s sub-items of environmental competitiveness are less balanced and have obvious advantages and disadvantages；compared with leading cities，Guangzhou is relatively backward in environmental quality，innovation and development，management and image；Guangzhou should catch up with the leading cities by improving environmental quality，facilities and services，and focus on promoting environmental innovation and development，environmental management and image.
