在中非合作论坛引领下，21世纪头十年中非经贸合作全面快速发展，成效显著，逐渐形成多层次、有重点、宽领域、全覆盖的合作格局，在中非双方经济社会发展中发挥了不可替代的作用。2011年，面对不利的国际经济环境，非洲部分地区的自然灾害及社会变革，中非经贸合作继续呈现良好的发展态势。贸易和投资继续快速增长，但承包工程业务增幅有所收窄。展望未来，基于中非双方较强的经济互补性，中非合作论坛等机制的保障作用，以及各自经济发展形势对深化双边合作的影响分析判断，2012年中非经贸合作前景依然看好，中国对非贸易、投资、工程承包合作有望继续实现稳步增长。
In the first decade of 21st century, China-Africa trade and economic cooperation has made rapid and comprehensive progress with remarkable results under the guidance of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). In the gradually formed pattern of multi-level, well laid-out, wide-ranging and all-dimensional cooperation, the trade and economic cooperation between China and Africa played an irreplaceable role in social and economic development of both sides. Facing with the unfavorable international economic environment, natural disasters and social transformations in some regions of Africa, China-Africa trade and economic cooperation continued to show a positive trend in 2011,China-Africa trade and investment continue to grow rapidly even though the growth of engineering contracting has been narrowed. Looking ahead, due to the strong economic complementarity between China and Africa, the institutional guarantee from FOCAC and their respective economic development situations, promising prospect of China-Africa trade and economic cooperation in the year 2012 is well-founded. China-Africa trade, China's investment and engineering contracting in Africa are expected to achieve a steady growth.
