阿拉伯国家与中国同属发展中国家，双方在政治外交、经贸金融、文化教育等领域一直保持着良好的交往与合作，如今都面临着“谋和平、求发展”的共同任务。“阿拉伯之春”爆发后，中东局势出现严重动荡，中阿关系也面临新的挑战和机遇。中国在坚持原则前提下灵活应对中阿关系出现的新问题，推动双方加强战略对话，增进战略互信，拓展合作领域，保证了双边关系的稳定健康发展。
The Arab countries and China are all developing countries. The two sides have maintained good contacts and cooperation in such fields as politics，diplomacy，economy，trade，finance，culture and education. They are now all facing the common task of seeking peace and development. After the outbreak of the “Arab Spring”，serious unrest occurred in the Middle East，and Sino-Arab relations are facing new challenges and opportunities. Under the premise of adhering to the principles，China responds flexibly to new problems emerging in Sino-Arab relations to promote strategic dialogue，enhance strategic mutual trust，expand cooperation areas，and ultimately ensure the stable and healthy development of bilateral relations.
