In 2014，President Xi Jinping attended the 6th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum，proposing that China and Arab countries jointly build the “Belt and Road” to open a new era of China-Arab cooperation. Promoted and guided by the “Belt and Road Initiative”，China-Arab economic and trade cooperation has achieved fruitful results and become an important fulcrum for promoting the China-Arab strategic partnership.
