作为国际共运组成部分和中东地区伊斯兰世界典型代表的土耳其共产主义运动，自1920年9月老土共成立以来，经历了兴起与发展、分化与裂变、重建与复兴、变革与转型的百年发展历程，其间涌现出老土共、土耳其工人党、土共（马列）、土耳其联合共产党、新土共等主要政党。各政党的组织运转、理论探索和实践斗争，共同汇聚成土耳其百年共产主义运动的历史洪流。
As a part of the international communist movement and a typical representative of the Islamic world in the Middle East，the Turkish communist movement has experienced rise and development，differentiation and fission，reconstruction and revival since its establishment in September 1920. The century-old development process of change and transformation，during which period of time emerged various distinctive socialist exploration paths led by the Türkiye Komünist Partisi，the Türkiye İşçi Partisi，the Turkish Communist Party （Marxist-Leninist），the Türkiye Birleşik Komünist Partisi，and the Communist Party of Turkey. The organizational operation，theoretical exploration and practical struggles of various political parties have converged into the historical torrent of the Century of Turkish Communist Movement.
