基于高等教育质量评价与大学排名的关系，选取U-Multirank这个新的排名工具作为分析对象，通过与以往ARWU、THE、QS等知名排行的比较，总结了它给高等教育质量评价带来的主要经验：评价方向由不合走向切合、性质由问责走向理解、理念由一元走向多元、实践由分散走向系统。与此相应，设计切合的质量评价框架、培植理解的质量评价文化、融入多元的质量评价要素和建设系统的质量评价体系等内容是U-Multirank排名对开展高等教育质量评价形成的深刻的、具体的启示。
Based on the relationship between higher education quality evaluation and university rankings，the author employs U-Multirank as the analysis object，and compares it with other famous rankings，such as ARWU，THE，QS. Then，the author argues that the U-Multirank can benefit the higher education quality evaluation in that the evaluation direction changes from catering to conformity，the nature changes from accountability to understanding，the concept changes from unitary to pluralistic，and the practice changes from decentralized to systematic. Accordingly，the implications of the U-Multirank analysis for the higher education quality evalution include the design of a suitable quality evaluation framework，the cultivation of an understanding of the quality evaluation culture，the incorporation of multiple quality evaluation elements and the construction of a well-functioned quality evaluation system.
