黄河，是中华民族的根和中华文明的摇篮。黄河文化深厚悠远，黄河文化遗产异常丰富。黄河文化遗产分布的范围为9个省级行政区的73个地区，超过了自然地理意义上的黄河流域。在现有遗产分类基础上，整理黄河文化遗产的数量及分布现状，以具体数据凸显黄河文化在中华文明中的突出地位，并将与黄河直接相关或密切相关的文化遗产重新分类，以期推动黄河文化遗产研究走向深入。
As the root of Chinese nation and the cradle of Chinese civilization，the Yellow River culture is profound with abundant culture heritage. The culture heritage is distributed beyond the Yellow River basin in the sense of natural geography，covering seventy three administrative regions of nine provinces. On the basis of the existing heritage classification，to sort out the quantity and distribution of the Yellow River is for the purpose of highlighting the prominent position of the Yellow River culture in forming Chinese civilization. And reclassifying the culture heritage directly or closely related with the Yellow River is for the purpose of deepen the research on the Yellow River culture heritage.
