董教总在马来西亚独立前就已经成立了,它由两个非政府、非营利性组织(董总与教总)组成。本研究在开放系统理论的基础上,探讨董教总通过各种斗争策略,以保持马来西亚的华文教育。通过梳理与研究董教总的演讲、文章、新闻内容、信件和档案可知,由于董教总必须适应不确定的环境,所以该组织为实现其目标而采取的多样性策略也会发生变化。因此,董教总的领导者需要找出最好的方法来分析与适应外部环境。总之,基于斗争的多元化策略,董教总有效地实现了在马来西亚发展和保持华文教育这一目标。
The study examined the role of the Dong Jiao Zong in maintaining China’s education in the country. As a non-governmental organization consisting of a combination of the two organizations,Dong Jiao Zong has been long-established in Malaysia. This research is important to know the extent of Dong Jiao Zong has been instrumental in effect in maintaining its existence through the strategy of struggle. Guided by the theory of open systems,the effectiveness of the role of the Dong Jiao Zong studied and measured through changes in the diversity strategy of struggle. The methodology is a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis of documentation,interviews and questionnaires over two hundred employees of Dong Jiao Zong as a method of collecting data. Data analysis involves a systematic content analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed changes in the diversity strategy of the struggle conducted by the Dong Jiao Zong to achieve its goal because the organization had to adapt to an uncertain environment. In summary,based on the diversity strategy of struggle,Dong Jiao Zong found to be effective in achieving its goal of keeping the Chinese education in Malaysia.
