中国对拉美地区一体化进程一向持支持态度，并积极推进与加勒比、中美洲、南美洲次区域组织之间的联系。在中国对拉美和加勒比次区域组织的外交战略中，与成员国的双边关系、次区域组织自身发展程度及其稳定性、各组织之间的合作与竞争、区外大国的地位和作用等均是重要的考量因素。中国应在拉共体的整体框架下继续发展同拉美新老次区域组织的关系，推动中拉地区间交往更上一个新的台阶。
China always supports the integration process in Latin America and actively promotes its links with sub-regional organizations from the Caribbean, Central and South America. In terms of China's diplomatic strategy towards these organizations, the important considerations include bilateral relations with their member states, their development level and stability, cooperation and competition among them, and the roles of external great powers. It is suggested that China should continue to develop relationships with the old and new sub-regional organizations from Latin America within the overall framework of Community of Latin America and the Caribbean, while promote Sino-Latin American interregional exchanges to more advanced level.
