Affected by the pandemic prevention and control,the cultural industry has been impacted to a certain extent because of its clustering attribute,especially for the performance industry which mostly depends on personnel gathering. In the current situation,how to stabilize and innovate the development of the performance industry is the research objective of this paper. This paper starts from the existing large-scale online music performance cases,using the value chain theory to compare and analyze the cases,discussing the feasibility of building online performance industry. Online performance can make full use of the idle performance resources affected by thepandemic prevention and control to ensure the stable survival of small and medium-sized enterprises in the performance industry. At the same time,the online performance industry is likely to be an important driver of the transformation of digital cultural industry in the future. On this basis of that,the paper will put forward the innovation path of building online performance and give some inspiration and suggestions to the development of digital culture industry:strong government guidance and policy support,division of labor and cooperation among enterprises,differentiated stage innovation,and strengthening the consumer centered development model.
