长三角区域水环境问题是一个整体，仅从局域的角度很难解决全局的问题。本研究在深入分析长三角区域地表水资源、水环境质量现状及污染成因的基础上，探讨长三角区域建立水环境综合治理协调机制的必要性。研究建议，长三角地区要进一步推进流域的环境管理区域合作，完善合作机制，不断提高合作的等级和深度，进一步加强水环境规划、标准的协调统一，推进信息共享，实现区域可持续发展。
It is difficult to solve all environmental issues of Yangtze River locally. In this study，the necessity of establishment of the coordination mechanism in the region will be discussed based on the deepened analysis of surface water resources，water quality and pollution characteristics in Yangtze River Delta region. It is suggested that we should further promote regional cooperation，improve the cooperation mechanism，continuously enhance the level and depth of the cooperation，further unify the water environmental planning and standard，improve information sharing，to achieve the sustainable development of the region.
