This paper analyzes the main progress of the development and utilization of government information resources. The public information resources have achieved remarkable results. The government information resources integration and sharing have made major breakthroughs. The value-added development and utilization of government information resources is still in the exploration stage，and the existing problems are sorted out. Suggestions and suggestions for strengthening the development and utilization of government information resources in China are proposed.
