马来西亚2019年政治、经济与对外交往均呈现出不同于以往的变化。政治方面，马来西亚政坛2018年大选后的政治重组和震荡、分化更为显著，而族群政治依旧是主轴；经济方面，马来西亚国家经济发展疲软态势明显，但整体上保持着温和增长的趋势；对外交往方面，马哈蒂尔主义再度给马来西亚外交战略打上了深刻的烙印。
Malaysia’s politics，economy and foreign exchanges in 2019 have shown different changes from the past. In terms of politics，the political reorganization，turbulence，and differentiation of the Malaysian political scene after the first “political change” in 2018 have become more pronounced，while ethnic politics still constitutes the main axis. In terms of economy，Malaysia’s national economic development is obviously weak，but on the whole，it has maintained a moderate growth trend；in terms of foreign exchanges，“Mahathirism” once again imprinted Malaysia’s diplomatic strategy.
