In 2020，the relationship between China and West Asian countries withstood the impact and test of the COVID-19 epidemic，and the bilateral relations improved steadily. The high-level “cloud diplomacy” interactions were frequent，and “cloud exchanges” and “cloud platforms” became the main forms of interaction during this special period. China and West Asian countries joined hands in combating the epidemic，and wrote a new chapter in the friendly relations between China and West Asian countries. At the same time，the economic and trade cooperation between China and West Asian countries has shown new highlights，new business formats such as the digital economy，humanities and technological cooperation have made new breakthroughs，and China’s security concept has gradually become popular in West Asia. In the post-epidemic era，China and West Asian countries should actively prevent and respond to various risks，take the resumption of work and production as main task，take the high-quality construction of the “Belt and Road” as main content，deepen the bilateral strategic partnership，gradually advance construction of a community with a shared future for China and Western Asia，and promote the common development and prosperity of China and West Asian countries.
