Athens is the capital of Greece，the economic，financial，service and cultural center of Greece，the eighth largest city in Europe，and one of the business centers of the European Union. This paper describes and analyzes the development status and development trends of Athens through the aspects of Athens’s general situation，economic development，industrial development and regional influence，in order to provide basic information for the relevant decisions of the Belt and Road.
