2019年，罗马尼亚再次举行总统大选，现任总统K.约翰尼斯成功连任。这一年罗马尼亚国内政治依然动荡不安，总统与总理的矛盾进一步激化，政府更迭频繁，民众对政府的信任度持续下跌，反腐工作仍任重道远。经济领域，2019年罗马尼亚经济持续增长，已成为欧盟成员国中第14大经济体，但人均GDP仍居倒数第二位。在外交和安全领域，罗马尼亚继续秉持“增强罗马尼亚在欧盟和北约中的影响”“加强与美国的战略伙伴关系”等基本外交方向，同时继续为加入申根区积极努力。对华关系方面，2019年正值中罗建交70周年暨建立全面友好合作伙伴关系15周年，两国外交往来频繁，双边贸易稳中有升，文化、教育等领域的合作欣欣向荣。
In 2019，Romania’s presidential election was held，and the current president Klaus Iohannis was re-elected. In this year，the domestic political situation was characterized by continued turbulence，intensified conflicts between the president and the prime minister，frequent cabinet changes，declining public trust in the government，and the arduous task of anti-corruption. The Romanian economy continued to grow in 2019，and had become the 14th largest in the EU，but the GDP per capita still ranked next to last. In international relations and security，Romania continued to enhance its influence in the EU and NATO and strengthened its strategic partnership with the United States，while continuing efforts to join the Schengen area. In relations with China，2019 was the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the 15th anniversary of the comprehensive friendly cooperative partnership. The two countries enjoyed frequent official exchanges，growing bilateral trade，and flourishing cooperation in culture and education.
