2019年，在全球经济增长放缓的背景下，越南借力《全面与进步跨太平洋伙伴关系协定》（CPTTP）等自由贸易协定的实施对外向型经济的推动，经济仍然不乏闪光点，全年GDP增长7.02%，连续两年实现并部分超越国会设定的年度发展目标；越南工业亦保持良好的发展势头，增加值较上年增长8.86%，加工制造业在引领工业行业和整体经济中继续发挥关键作用。
In 2019，under the background of slowing global economic growth，the implementation of free trade agreements such as the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership（CPTTP）has boosted the export-oriented economy of Vietnam，resulting in a few shining points. The annual GDP growth rate reached 7.02%，achieving and exceeding the development target set by the National Assembly for the second consecutive year. Vietnam’s industrial economy also maintained a sound momentum of growth，with value added increasing by 8.86%. Manufacturing and processing industries continue to play a key role in leading the industrial sector and the overall economy.
