In 2019，the contribution rate of science and technology to Vietnam’s economy continues to rise，playing an important role in Vietnam’s integration into the Fourth Industrial Revolution，promoting the digital transformation of society，and strengthening the construction of information infrastructure. During the year，Vietnam focused on building a high-quality education and training system and made progress in improving the quality of teachers，carrying out international education cooperation，and promoting the standardization，modernization and socialization of education. Meanwhile，Vietnam continued to protect cultural heritage，preserve and spread the traditional Vietnamese culture.
