2018年伊朗农业生产取得较好的成绩，伊朗开始探索在商业交易（IME）模式下巩固粮食生产，并在“食品健康”层面进一步巩固粮食安全。与此同时，伊朗农产品出口稳定增长，农业领域的对外合作亦稳步推进。近年，伊朗农业经济表现出新的走向，即构建知识基础型农业经济体系与推动农业生产智能化。运用空间技术及实施农业科研项目指导农业生产，其目的是降低农业经济对自然资源的依赖程度，促进农业生产的科学化，这一策略的成功实施或许将推动伊朗农业经济的重大转变。
In 2018，Iran’s agricultural production got good achievements，and its food security was further consolidated. The Iranian government explored the way to consolidate food production under the Iran Mercantile Exchange（IME），and further promoted food security at the “food health” level. At the same time，Iran’s agricultural exports increased steadily and its agricultural cooperation with other countries progressed steadily too. In recent years，Iran’s agricultural economy shows new trends，which are to construct a knowledge-based system in agriculture and to promote intelligentialize of agricultural production. The successful implementation of space technology and agricultural research projects to guide agricultural production，with the aim of reducing the dependence of the agricultural economy on natural resources and promoting scientific agricultural production，may guild a significant shift of Iran’s agricultural economy.
