With the rapid development of 5G，artificial intelligence，cloud computing，big data and other emerging technologies，online medical and health industry in Shanghai is booming，showing the development trend of active government leadership，active participation of enterprises and organic integration between online and offline industry，and the industry competition is becoming increasingly fierce. This paper analyzes the current situation and characteristics of online healthcare industry and the problems，challenges and opportunities in its development in Shanghai，discusses the development trend of online healthcare industry，and gives policy recommendations on the obstacles and problems faced by service provision，government policies and industry profitability patterns in Shanghai.
