Located in a strategic place in the Central Europe，the Czech Republic used to be the “frontier position” of the political confrontation，diverse cultures merged here，giving it a rich and distinctive cultural heritage. the Czech Republic attaches great importance to the protection of cultural heritage，promotes the construction of relevant laws and has established a relatively complete legal system for cultural heritage protection；The Monument Care Department，the Monument Inspectorate under the Ministry of Culture and the National Heritage Institute play a significant role in the culture heritage including training and education；The heritage protection is funded by a wide range of sources and governmental investment is increasing. In recent years，while the Czech Republic has vigorously developed its cooperation with UNESCO，it has also continuously strengthened its cooperation with China in the field of cooperation mechanism construction，exchange activities and cultural industries. Meantime，there is still lots of space for bilateral cooperation. Finally，this article summarizes the experience and problems from Czech cultural heritage protection practice in order to provide reference and inspiration for China.
