On the basis of multicultural identity，the Serbian culture in 2019 continues to develop under the guidance of the five development directions. In the domestic area，Serbia attaches importance to the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage，consolidating and promoting its traditional culture of Serbia. It actively develops modern creative industries，and is committed to providing a richer cultural life for the people of the country and integrating into the European cultural integration process. In the international affairs，it actively responds to China’s “Belt and Road” initiative，strengthens exchanges and cooperation with China，and promotes its own culture at the regional and global levels to shape the international image of Serbian culture. The Serbian government plans to continue to improve its cultural supervision system，institutional operational capabilities and financing capabilities in the future. It will establish an investment mechanism for cultural institutions and cultural heritage protection，and vigorously develop cultural digitization. It will also promote cultural production，expand cultural demand，and enable citizens to participate in cultural life on an equal basis. The cooperation between countries in the cultural field will be strengthened to accelerate the country’s integration process into European culture.
