After the Trump administration took office，it withdrew from the Iranian nuclear deal，recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel，moved US embassy to Jerusalem，recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights and the Jewish settlements in the West Bank，and moreover promulgated the “Deal of the Century” to support Israel. All these pro-Israel Middle East policies are the result of the continuation of US strategic adjustment and the escalation of its consistent pro-Israel policy，which are a typical manifestation of hegemonism and unilateralism，and at the same time，have an obvious purpose to cater to Trump’s domestic political needs. Nevertheless，these US policies violate United Nations resolutions，international law，and the consensus of the international community，which are not only unsupported by the United States’ major allies and the vast majority of international members，but also opposed by Iran and rejected by Palestine. Therefore，they are difficult to be advanced and implemented，and cannot achieve the expected goal of promoting peace and stability in the Middle East. On the contrary，they will aggravate the turmoil and crisis in the Middle East，damage US’s international credit and its relationship with its allies. Meanwhile，these policies will not bring substantive benefits to Israel，but will create a worse international public opinion environment and regional security environment for Israel.
