The economy of Israel continued to grow in 2019. The GDP growth rate was basically the same as that of 2018，but slightly higher than expected. Moreover，the inflation was low，the unemployment rate hit a record low，the credit rating was at a record high，the export growth and the main economic indicators maintained a good momentum，which supported the stable and positive fundamentals of Israeli economy. The chronic diseases in Israel’s economic and social development，such as the huge economic gaps between different ethnic groups and sectors，housing crisis and neglect of the health system，are still important factors restricting Israel’s economic development. They will be the most important imperatives to be resolved after the formation of the new government.
