进入21世纪以来，迁入西班牙的摩洛哥移民数量迅速增加，摩洛哥移民成为西班牙最大的外籍移民群体，约占外国移民总数的17.4%。该移民群体人口数量众多，是西班牙媒体、政治和社会最具争议的群体和最受关注的焦点。摩洛哥移民虽然丰富了西班牙语言、文化和宗教，但是也引发了西班牙境内种族主义和仇外心理问题。如何采取有效措施应对这个问题，同时促使该移民群体融入主流社会，已经成为西班牙亟待解决的社会问题之一。
The number of Moroccan immigrants in Spain has grown rapidly this century，becoming the largest group of foreigners in Spain，accounting for about 17.4 per cent of all foreign immigrants. This group of immigrants，in addition to its large population，is also the most controversial and the focus of attention of the media，politics and Spanish society. Although Moroccan immigration enriches the Spanish language，culture and religion，it also contributes to the increase in racism and xenophobia in Spain；taking effective measures to address this problem，while promoting the integration of this group into mainstream society，is one of the social problems that Spain must address.
