2019年以来,英国传媒业通过5G商用的带动,在此前十年发展演变的基础上呈现传媒新图景,并按照预见的趋势向着更加移动化、智能化、高清化、多元化、便利化的媒体服务方向一如既往地发展着。但是,进入2020年,伴随着脱欧成为定局、史无前例的新冠肺炎疫情在英国蔓延和加剧,英国的传媒业发展、媒体报道及监管都受到了极大的影响。在疫情期间,英国传媒、广告、信息监管机构也都采取了一些有针对性的措施。
Driven by 5G commercialization,British media sector has formed a new picture by previous ten years’ development and evolution since 2019. According to the foreseen trend,media service has become more mobile,intelligent,high-definition,diversified and convenient as always. However,in 2020,with Brexit becoming a foregone conclusion and unprecedented coronavirus pandemic spreading in the UK,external factors have had great impact on the development of British media,media coverage and media supervision. This essay includes general observations and analysis of the growth of British media from 2019 to 2020,more specifically,the media usage of the British public,media awareness,specific regulatory measures and typical examples during the coronavirus pandemic.
