2019年，马来西亚再添一项世界非物质文化遗产，传统武术希拉被列入《人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录》。在旅游、艺术和文化部的领导下，各部门积极开展保护、宣传活动，打造品牌、扩大影响，促进马来西亚非物质文化遗产的发展传承。28年后，吉兰丹州政府正式解除玛雍表演禁令，为传统文化与伊斯兰教的共存开辟道路，对整个马来西亚的非物质文化遗产保护工作来说意义重大。
In 2019，Malaysia added one another world intangible cultural heritage，its traditional martial art Silat was enlisted in the “Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity”. Lead by Ministry of Tourism，Arts and Culture Malaysia，various departments actively carry out protection and publicity activities，build brands and expand influence to promote the dissemination and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. Furthermore，after twenty-eight years，the Kelantan state government officially lifted the ban on Mak Young theater，paving the way for coexistence of traditional culture and Islam，which is of great significance to the protection of intangible cultural heritages throughout Malaysia.
