2019年的新加坡和文莱文化发展,既有传承,也有创新。一方面,基本延续了上一年的发展模式,按照政府文化部门规划,举办凸显各自特色的文化活动;另一方面,新加坡、文莱两国这一年的文化发展显示出一些新特点,新加坡艺术文化领域的商业化程度进一步提升,政府当幕后,市场唱主角,文莱文化显示出年轻化和商业化趋势,并突出伊斯兰文化特色。上述新特点预计将持续影响新加坡、文莱两国文化发展,从而影响两国与包括中国在内的周边国家人文交流的形式和内涵。
The year of 2019 has witnessed both inheritance and innovation of culture development in Singapore and Brunei. On the one side,the routine patterns of culture development in both countries have been followed by both MCCY and KKBS. Important cultural events are organized with the agenda to promote the uniqueness and charm of the Singaporean and Bruneian cultures. Meanwhile,on the other,new features have also shown respectively. Singapore has enjoyed an even higher level of commercialization in art and culture. Government remained backstage as market plays its game. Bruneian government has shown an inclination to organize youngster-targeted,commercially rational and Islamic-related culture events. The new features will translate in a long term influence on culture development of both Singapore and Brunei,as also in cultural exchanges between these two countries and their neighbors including China.
