北京市洗浴业近年来呈迅猛发展之势，水疗SPA、洗浴中心、温泉会所……数以千计的洗浴场所星罗棋布于各个区县，其中的旗舰企业的浴场规模动辄数万乃至十几万平方米。但是，洗浴业的节水工作进展缓慢，在节水型社会建设中的“短板”状况未得到根本改观，节水工作尚有巨大的提升空间。
Bathing industry in Beijing，represented by hydrotherapy SPAs，bathhouse，and hot-spring clubs，has experienced a rapid development in recent years. Thousands of bathing houses scatter in all districts and counties in Beijing，of which the flagship ones often take up thousands of square meters and even hundreds of thousands of square meters. However，the industry is still slow in water conservation. More work can be done in building a water-efficiency society，since the shortest slab of bathing industry continues to bring bucket effect.
