Erdous and Wuhai in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region，Yulin in Shaanxi Province，and Shizuishang in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region，which are all located in the biologically vulnerable regions，are now witnessing the fastest economic development in China. However，large-scale resources exploitation，unlimited launching of high energy consumption and high pollution projects，and the roaring urbanization process have caused serious environmental and biological problems，escalating biological degradation，deforestation and environmental pollution while causing severe water shortage and wasting. Therefore，it is critical to protect the local environment and maintain a sustainable development.
