With rapid development due to China reform and opening-up policy,China has been significantly increasing overseas investment since 2002. At present,China has developed a preliminary overseas investment governance system, but the system lacks law and regulation, especially the ones on host country’s environmental protection. Consequently, all ministries are striving to improve the laws and regulations related to overseas investment. These regulations can further regulate and guide Chinese enterprises’ overseas investment behavior, improve their image as well as China’s reputation and guarantee long-term resources sharing and sustainable development in host countries.
