FON，IPE and community residents joined hands in handling the environment violations of the Shanghai Richina Leather，a successful attempt made by environmental protection NGOs to play an active role in environment crisis management mechanism. Through pollution information publicity，green supply chain tracing，and media involvement，the company eventually changed its attitude and the conflict consequently solved in a rational，peaceful and mutually beneficial way.
