我国快速的城市化过程加剧了中国环境问题的风险。我国城市化如何避免“拉美化”，并降低城市的环境和资源风险，是必须思考的战略问题，宜居城市的建设应该综合考虑城市发展的多种重要因素。我国的宜居城市指标和试点还处在起步时期，有些指标过于复杂，也缺乏必要的考核机制，不能适应国家城市化进程和生态环境恶化对城市发展影响提出的整体要求。
The rapid urbanization in China has increased environmental risks. How to avoid "Latin-Americanization" and reduce environmental and resource risks in the urbanization process in China has become a strategic issue that requires careful consideration. The development of livable cities should take into account the multiple key factors in urban development. At present,the development of indicators and pilots of easy living cities has just started in China. Some indicators are excessively complicated while necessary evaluation mechanism is still missing,unable to satisfy the overall requirements of China's urbanization process and countering eco-environmental deterioration.
