我国电力行业积极应对国际金融危机的挑战，抓住机遇，通过优化电源结构、加强管理，节能减排成效显著。政府进一步用政策引导电力行业往低碳化方向发展，全国电力建设与投资结构继续加快调整。装机容量不断增长，水电、核电、风电等清洁能源的建设快速增长，火电投资中大容量、高效率机组亦成为主要设备，水电在总发电中的比例不断提高，多个核电项目全面开工，整个电源体系向高效、低碳、节能的多元化方向发展。
