In 2019,global natural gas consumption as a whole was weak due to macroeconomic slowdown, decline in oil prices, development of alternative energy sources, climate change and other factors. The global supply of natural gas has increased steadily and the market has remained loose. Global liquefaction capacity is at its peak, with new capacity and FID at a record high. Gas prices fell in three major markets, with deep declines in Europe and Asia markets. It is expected that in 2020,the growth rate of global natural gas demand will further slow down;the global natural gas oversupply will further aggravate;the supply-side competition will intensify;the buyer’s market characteristics will become more obvious, and the market price will be difficult to warm up.
