以往的战后日本外交史研究多以日美关系为中心，近些年全面研究战后日本与亚洲的外交关系变得日益必要。战后日本的亚洲外交就是从“日本与亚洲”转变为“亚洲中的日本”的过程。本文在梳理日本视角下的“亚洲”地区概念变迁的基础上，考察日本亚洲外交的不同时代特征，把握日本亚洲外交的整体状况。如今，日本亚洲外交不仅会对其整体外交产生影响，还将对日本国内政治产生巨大影响。
The existing studies on Japanese diplomacy in the postwar era mainly focuses on Japan-U.S.relations. However，it becomes more necessary in recent years to conduct studies on Japan’s relations with other Asian countries. Japanese diplomacy in Asia in the postwar era can be regarded as a shift from a pattern of “Japan and Asia” to that “Japan in Asia”. It contributes to the understanding of Japanese diplomacy in Asia in general if the concept of Asia from Japanese perspective and characteristics of Japanese diplomacy in different stages of development are examined. It has currently entered an era in which Asian diplomacy will have a huge impact not only on Japanese diplomacy but also on Japanese domestic politics.
