旅游业的迅速发展使澳门从一个无名小城蜕变成国际知名的、繁荣的旅游目的地。随着旅客量日益增加,城市的资源显得紧张,基建和设施的承载能力亦备受考验。社会各界开始怀疑,澳门是否已达到其最大的旅游承载量,而进一步的旅游发展是否可持续。本文阐述旅客量增加所带来的挑战,讨论调整和影响旅游需求和服务供给的国际经验以及旅客分流的策略,并就如何在澳门应用其中一些策略提出建议。
With the phenomenal development of its tourism industry,Macao has morphed from a nameless city to an internationally renowned and prosperous tourist destination. The increase in visitation that follows,however,strains the city’s resources and puts its infrastructure to stringent tests. The community begins to wonder if Macao has reached its maximum tourism carrying capacity and if any further development will be sustainable. The article discussed the challenges brought by increased tourist arrivals,international experiences in adjusting and influencing tourist demand and service supply,as well as strategies to manage tourist flows. Recommendations on how to apply some of these strategies in Macao were provided.
