On the basis of the work of the previous government，the 4^th government of the Macau Special Administrative Region formally proposed the working principle of centralised legislative coordination，and gradually promoted it through the establishment and operation of the corresponding mechanism. The article summarises the work implemented by the government legal affairs agencies over the past five years and provides an analysis to the effects of the operation of the mechanism. Suggestions are also made to the possible improvement of the mechanism.
