徽州传统文化在当代有大量遗存，它们有许多得到了开发，融入现代社会。徽州传统物质文化遗存的开发直接促进了徽州人文旅游事业的发展，徽州传统非物质文化遗存的开发直接促进了徽州传统技艺的产业化发展，徽州古代文献文书遗存的开发直接促进了徽学事业的发展。这些开发都具有很强的地域特色：徽州人文旅游事业的发展从2012年开始度过了早期发展的初级阶段，正在实现自身结构和内容的调整而进入一个新的发展阶段，生机盎然；徽州传统技艺的产业化开发从2012年以后顺利超越了刚开始发展的起步阶段，正处在一个急速发展时期，空间广阔；徽学的研究从2017年之后处在一个活跃预热期，基础资料的整理与公布工作已加快，学术上的多学科研究和现实服务上的智库作用已有展开，正向一个新的发展阶段迈进，前景光明。研究和探讨徽州传统文化遗存在新时代的开发路径及产业培育问题，既具有地域性的价值，也具有普遍性的示范意义。
Huizhou traditional culture has left a huge amount of heritage for the present，many of which have been cultivated and integrated into modern society. The cultivation of Huizhou traditional material cultural heritage has led directly to the development of Huizhou cultural tourism；the cultivation of Huizhou traditional non-material cultural heritage has led directly to the industrialization of Huizhou traditional crafts；and the cultivation of Huizhou ancient literary and archive heritage has led directly to the prosperity of Hui research. All those cultivations display a strong regional feature，the development of which can be assessed as follows （by the end of 2018）：Huizhou cultural tourism has surpassed its early primary stage in 2012 and is now undergoing structural and substantial adjustments for a new stage of rigorous growth；the industrialization of Huizhou traditional craft has successfully surpassed its initial stage of development in 2012，and is now experiencing a period of rapid growth，ready for a new normal with huge potential；Hui research has entered an active warming-up period since 2017，during which the edition and publication of basic materials has been accelerated，and its think-tank function in practical service and its multidisciplinary nature in academics have been further explored，striding towards a new stage of development with a bright future. The study and exploration of paths to develop Huizhou traditional cultural heritage in the new era and problems in its industrial nurture possesses both regional values and universal demonstrative significance.
